Why Are You Here?

Li'l Puppet is here to study players psychologically. How they react to being given a free piece, if they are nice in chat, and how they respond to both winning and losing and more. At this time, Li'l Puppet has no set home, and uses the computers of friends. Li'l Puppet's findings are quite interesting.
This thread sounds rather scary (especially the third person thing) , but the actual content of it is interesting.

Now honestly, I don't like to play against other players who forcefully let me win and give up their pieces ?because they think I'd be grateful? . I mean chess is a competitive game and it is only fun if both sides try to win (or *only one* side tries to draw while the other tries to win) . Otherwise it'll be an extremely boring and low-quality game. It'd be ok if I'm playing against some Super-GM but it's all a matter of fairness.

To the winning and losing part - I think chess as a game with intellectual background should also imply a certain level of behavior. For me, a good opponent in OTB chess is someone who wishes a good game, does not try to distract me by any means, and is friendly after the game, regardless of the game result. Here online, it's ok if you don't say anything because the games are faster and you are playing anonymously.
Most players here will say nothing, some will say good game , and a few might be disrespectful but I'm pretty good at ignoring those.

When I'm playing against lower rated opponents I often offer them to go through the played game in order to review their mistakes and of course mine. It is often fun and it helps to strengthen some specific skills concerning chess.
This is new. A 3rd person, homeless, psychoanalyst chess player, who begs time on friends computers to analyze nice chess players in chat after he losses pieces ....
What if they are in Zen mode?
The book "The Psychology of the Chess Player" by Reuben Fine?
ChessIteration: Li'l Puppet doesn't "let" them win. Li'l Puppet tries Pupprt's best.

achja: Li'l Puppet will see if a friend has the book. Thank you.

tpr: Li'l Puppet has only read Fine's 'BCE 'book. Will search for the Fine book. Thanks.

mdinnerspace: Doesn't ZEN just blackout the opponent's rating? PLUS, no one addressed the query.
BCE and MCO are most famous, but Dr. Reuben Fine quit chess at the height of his career to become a full time psychiatrist.
People study psychiatry to get therapy from their patients.
Also Morphy quit at his top to become a full time lawyer.
Fischer quit at his top to become a full time dissident.
Kasparov quit at his top to become a politician.
Pillsbury quit at his top because of an illness.
