1230 player vs 1280 player. Result BLACK WINS WITH CM IN 10. (Any casual challenge welcome)

Every day i check to see my player insights and to see how my games are improving. I like to know what opening i have most success with. With black i noticed i win 58% of games with the french and a huge 67% with a certain french variation. I wiil refrain from saying which variation as i welcome and would appreciate some challenges from 1300ish players please.

ANYWAY i obviously wanted to look into this opening. So for the past week or so i ahve watched no other chess videos apart from the French (and some Vienna for white). I constantly and obsessively watch YT videos by Derek Kelley, chesswebsite, and St Louis chess club. I thought after watching so many French def vids i will keep improving and over the last few weeks my games have improved dramatically.

However i have never expected this: lichess.org/Bu2ebFsK/black#20
a3 was a terrible blunder from white, then Kd2 was literally the worst possible move he could have made. You did play the opening perfectly though
@classicalryadad Thanks. Its true (for me anyway) that you do have to study tactics and tehroy etc and not just play to improve. I was stuck at 1050ish for ages until last weeks tactics seem to click and i see things like i didnt used to see. Dont want to sound pretentious but it is like "a light turns on". I just hope they keep turning on.
ehhh, your opponent played terribly. But generally When white takes on c6 in the french you want to take back with the pawn.
No one ever won a game without their opponent playing at least one terrible move. Good game.
@chess_king3 But if i took with a pawn on c6 then my white bishop would of been trapped in the pawn chain and the white bishop would of been useful if he was castling king side, which it looked as though they were about to do. Als i would of had doubled pawns. SO that is the reasoning for taking with the bishop.

However if i new what side he was going to castle i would of used took with the pawn as you suggested. i can see the benefit because i could then of followed it up with a queen/rook battery on an half open file and got them that way. NICE Thanks

I will remeber to check of the pawn take is best next time.

Thanks for the advice.
@InfiniteFlash yeah. I will admit though they did play more then then one bad move, the thing is to make sure you capatalise on them. That is one of the chess insights i check a alot "luck" (how often you punish opponents blunders) and is it getter better all the time. Thanks
