Too many people disconnecting when the game is lost

Chess.com use to give the victory in 30 seconds or so. Now you have to wait until the end. Why?

lichess used to give victory in a minute or so.i dont know whats going on now

the last time i claimed victory was yesterday, so it's still like that. usually you have to wait when you have been playing for a long time like 5 or 10 minutes, then lichess makes you wait the last 2 or 3 minutes.

Imagine you have a connection error and you get disconnected for 1-2 Minutes. Wouldnt you be mad, that after lets say 30 sec the other guy got the victory ? But yes sometimes the time of my opponents ran down the last 5-6 minutes, I also dont understand why this isnt fixed....

Maybe they are busy working on the cheating problem

I use to play 3 plus 0. People make a blunder in move 3 and I have to wait until the end.
Then the other player receives a note (that he can't see): Waiting till the end TO MANY TIMES COULD result in a TEMPORARY ban.

Oh yeah, that warning of temporary ban, gives me shivers every time.
