Are unfair play detection monitored in casual play?

Casual games do not benefit from the automated anti-cheat methods in place on Lichess, however using an engine is not allowed regardless so you can report the game at lichess.org/report and a moderator will look at it.

It appears that rated players are not playing casual at all. Nearly every game offered are by provisional rated.
I do not know why, but if this is part of the reason players do not use casual, perhaps it should be changed. Why would it not be active, if automatic? Who will report a "casual" game?

Think about your life. Most of your games are casual - that is the naturally correct situation.

Why not here?
By casual I mean friendly. I regard online ratings as virtual, therefore insignificant though it does gives more excitement . I am not after titles. Chess is a hobby and remains a passionate pastime. However I suspect some players are treating casual games too seriously and resort to using engines 'cos they are "hooked" on winning and using engines to feed their habit.
Yeah, that's my point. OTB casual means friendly--here it just means "unrated" (and also "less monitored").

You asked if "casual" games are "unfair play detection monitored". Then you say that by casual you mean friendly. How can lichess software detect feelings of friendliness or unfriendliness?
There are 2 issues: (1) my definition of casual, (2) expects strict adherence to fair play whether casual or rated. It's not about expecting Lichess to detect friendliness. If engines are used habitually 'cos players know that anti-cheating measures are not used in casual games then chess as a pastime runs out of favour. I am old school and prefer OTB board games but there is no club for me to join. I'm old and has a history of stroke. I hate to see chess reduced to automaton play. Don't allow online cheating becoming wide-spread. There is a thrill to see whether you can get away with it, winning all your games, whether rated or casual.
"friendly", "unrated", "casual". We are talking about the unrated games feature on lichess called 'casual'. Not the players' feelings of friendliness.

@MrPushwood means that maybe unrated games here mean something different than at the board.

That's fair.

But, it is still true that few or no players of rated games seem to be using this feature. It is an oddity.
Perhaps it is because the automated methods are not active. Perhaps not. I was wondering if maybe there was a bug that was not showing me rated players in a different post. But there is not, I have seen some, rarely.

But what is the reasoning the automated methods are not active? Would the feature be used more if they were?
