What do you think about hypnosis in chess ??

Interesting topic and Tal's reply, I too very often think I am under hypnosis against certain opponents with whom I regularly lose.

What if you lost simply because your opponent played better ?
Or hypnotized you to make you think, that the idea that you are thinking this may be coming from a hypnosis, so a multi-level hypnosis , such as the dream within the dream ad inseption.A Matryoshka effect.
Tal was a chain smoking morphine addict. No wonder he thought the strangest things!
So Tal responds to the query with a reasonable debunking of the idea (if the translation is more or less correct). By the way, the questioner certainly is not Albert Einstein, as the 'Chessbulls' title suggests!
Tal's opponents sometimes claimed they lost to him because he hypnotized them. i think it was Pal Benko that first came up with the idea of wearing giant sunglasses when playing Tal. spoiler alert, it did not work.

I play 5 minute games and lots of my blunders are caused by myself especially during fast exchanges when I will play a move on the line I calculated, but I don't notice my opponent has gone off that line ... this might actually be a form of self-hypnosis.
