Need a openings against 1.d4

@arsen1c I am a d4 player and I find the Nimzo-Indian really annoying. I think you should play it. However, I play 1.d5 against 1.d4 so I guess it’s just preference.
Given your rating, pretty much any opening is 'sound'. If you want something you can attack with, try the Budapest gambit? Many of the ideas are reasonably direct and not too hard to learn, and there are some cheap traps in that you can probably catch people out with.
Well I found 2 openings which I will play according my mood Modern Benoni and QGD.Thanks everyone and BTW @piscatorox that's what I want to avoid. Suppose in englund gambit opponent iis not a friend to give you wins and white will have concrete advantages if he plays right moves. U are a titiled player u might think me as a fool but that what I don't like englund budapest and sorts of other
@arsen1c Different openings are sound up to certain levels. The Budapest is probably sound up to ~ 2000 FIDE. Some entirely sound openings e.g. the London system can be dangerous for beginning players because they can be played formulaically without any understanding and simply as a way not to lose quickly.
