#10 Well done, at least we got rid of a few cheaters. But why would someone sandbag? I simply do not understand.
I guess there's something about haveng a nice low rating, and then suddenly bringing the rating back up.
Why is sandbagging an issue? Who would want to do that anyway? C'est la vie..
@Caustic, oh i remember him, it's not me, and i don't have anything to do with him! Maybe he did it on purpose? It's a stupid thing, i really don't care for my rating but i want to play some tournaments and face some stronger players. Why don't you check if he only do that when facing me or someone else too?? I want to be unbanned, it ridiculous that some idiot can cause you problems like this. Also, if i remember that guy was around 1200 rating, so i can't see how he can boost my rating really.
@noob2chess Because if you lose to a sandbagger, you'll lose alot of rating points.
Ok #14, say it was someone else, and you didn't expect it or really know what was going on. The idea is that if someone repeatedly quits on you, you're helping their sandbagging and you yourself are boosting.
In this case, you need to contact the mods and inform them that you weren't consciously boosting, you just didn't realize what your opponent was doing. For future reference, what you're meant to do when you're convinced someone is sandbagging is stop playing them. Maybe you did after those four games. The mods may give you the benefit of the doubt here.
