Funny line in the 3.d4 Scandinavian

I played 3.d4 in the scandinavian 34 times as white, and 7 games (20%) ended like this:

1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Qxd5 3. d4 Nc6 4. Nf3 Bg4 5. Be2 Bxf3 6. Bxf3 Qxd4 7. Bxc6+

Funny enough... after 6. Bxf3 62% of lichess users played 6. ... Qxd4??

playing against the scandi is fun!
my guess as to why this is
is because there's not really a logical reason to play bxf3 unless you think you're winning a pawn with qxd4
after be2, bxf3 gives white about 80% win rate while other moves keep it around 40-60%
still kinda funny that that many players fall for that
My man, you should write a course on the Scandi! I've never played the Scandi in my life
after castles instead taking with B this move order makes it VERY easy for black to equalize, which is probably why i havent seen this yet. could work a few times in faster TCs tho, thanks for sharing!

Yeah.. 3.d3 can lead to dangerous iniciative from black. At least at my level if they dont follow this line i had some problems to consolidate. But i suck in any line so might as well play this.
wanna see a funnier line?
