c**s.com (mud.com is another acceptable name) did recently just add Racing Kings, but because they have so many other variants, and don't hold tournaments for most of them, there are not a lot of players. In fact, looking at the leaderboard, you can see a lot of lichess players who just went there to play a few games.

Because they throw ads at you, force you to pay to access their content, and have a poor handling of cheaters.

(It is mainly a joke among some variant players, lichess is just that much better!)

thats fair. however, c.com has some very good content and offers a lot that lichess doesnt. that said, I would agree that lichess is the better site for playing/studying
