@YummyCheeseburger I will summarize it for you. The same reason they got rid of correspondence top 10 trophies to prevent cheaters. It's hard to detect cheaters when its correspondence. Also for more unfair variants like atomic chess where white has a huge advantage people can open internet explorer and search for the best move, which technically isn't cheating is kind of frowned upon and becomes a battle of the internet explorers
