When the opponent is bad, but you are Dumb.

To my defense, i was very tired too and just bored to death at the end.... didn't wanted to even THINK at the end of it, brought that upon myself i guess.

Edit : i shouldn't have used the "bad" term on the title, especially with my own level. Is there a way to change it ?

@fealnort Its not long time control I dont understand how you could got bored with it at the end. At your level you should play longer time control games (at least 20+0). Your opponent escaped checkmate in absolutelly lost game. Try not to do the same next time. It can be with all us.
I got bored because it was game without any kind of challenge after the huge blunder my oppenent made again and again.

Had i taken 30 sec the think about it i could have checkmate pretty easily. but i did not. I didn't took the option of a pat seriouly and just wanted to end the game with the least mental effort possible. My laziness and lack of sleep killed me.

Don't be like me.
Dont worry, next time you will win. Chess demands comcentration. I think its better not to play rated games when you are tired.
Why would you be bored? I play lots of 40-80 move games and they're all exciting, even if it's an obvious win. Why, I even find just doing the Rook Roller fun. Even though it may take some time...
Once your opponent is down to a bare king, or has pawns that can't move, alarm bells should go off in your head. The only thing that can go wrong is a stalemate, so avoiding that should be your #1 priority, even ahead of checkmate. It's especially dangerous when you have a lot of pieces because they can "accidentally" cover all the squares.

But don't worry, there's not a seasoned player alive who hasn't blundered into a stalemate at some point.

When my opponent is down to only a king and I'm trying to mate, I often give away minor pieces so they are not in the way - if I have some major ones. This is because I don't think you can force a Queen-and-Helper mate, so I give away (not sack) the minor pieces and do a queen mate.
if you can give mate without eating the pawns of the rival ... do not eat the pawns of the rival, thus avoid tie for drowned king
