Can you win with one queen against 4 pawns? [difficult]

@tpr Ah, and no checks. Makes sense.
Well, I guess by process of elimination you can find this move if you drill this puzzle for a couple hours. But finding it in actual game? Naaah.

In an actual game and with enough time to think, logic may lead to the conclusion that Kc8 is the logical move so that the king does not interfere with the queen. Even with enough time brute force calculation 7 moves deep is less likely, though grandmasters are surely capable of doing that.
I guess Carlsen would calculate it in a classical game and would play Kc8 on intuition in a blitz game.
#23 Let's ask him ! :D

#14 Kc8 is quite easy to explain, but not to find. And once you understood that you need to not obstruct the queen's checks, what is not easy to get in my view is that Kb7 doesn't work : though it's not obstructing the queen's checks, it allows black to push the e6 and e7 pawns to e5 and e6, preventing the queen to have access to the d4/d5/f4/f5 square which are needed to give checks. And once you started the series of checks, you don't have anymore problems with that (as the queen is or giving check, or controlling e5).
I did say it was difficult :]

It's far from being the hardest endgame though! This one is kind-of forgiving since you can sometimes make an imperfect move.
