You Refuse to Play - You Are blocked!

Li'l Puppet's tenet: You refuse to play, you are blocked. If you aren't going to play Li'l Puppet, what's the point in dragging your baggage along just to have you pop up again like some festering boil on the backside of humanity. Placing you gently out of the running, as a Hobo might place his half-full wine bottle gently down on the curb beside himself, will assure your carcass will not interfere with the swift progression of matching a suitable opponent who won't run, like a donkey bit on the rear by a horse fly, when beat like a rented mule.
Good story. Colorful imagery. I look forward to the next installment.
The next installment has arrived, happening only minutes ago: As puppet sat calmly awaiting her next paring, a pompous, self-inflated scissorbill joined the table. All was well for a few seconds, then like the broad-bodied dragonfly (commonly found at ponds and swamps which can rest for long periods on a perch, from which it darts out to grab prey) decided that Li'l Puppet was ready to remove it's wings along with it's dignity, disappeared like a bolt of greased lightening leaving behind traces of evidence that it soiled itself in it's hasty exodus. Naturally, after wasting Li'l Puppet's precious time, the clown was BLOCKED like a 130 lb. tight end trying to get through the front line of the New England Patriots.
