Hi guys, any idea how to prevent so many idiots using engines?
You can’t stop others from bothering you. But you can choose to ignore the cheating idiots, Lichess will ban them anyway.
Unfortunately there is no hope that chess sites will do anything about it. Cheating is new normal in peoples minds. Now days when you cheat it is considered resourcefulness. Think that last month chess.com banned 14000 acc because of cheating.
I do not look any moves from my opponents in openings lets say up to 20th move. And people do not use engines there.
They are using them later. Either mating patterns or middle games ideas or when loosing.
