What is your story that you become a chess player?

Mine is: First my neighbour @Airship123 taught me chess, Then my grandfather taught me to play chess then I joined barrackpore chess academy and learned many things. I practiced and practiced and now become a great chess player. I started to play chess when I am 8 years old. (tell like this only)
Well, in my family, chess is THE game.
If you don't play chess, then you're not a family member, talk about freedom.

Joking, my cousin taught me chess and since it was the only game that I could play, I played it.

I play chess for 6 years! and I think I am a great chess player. My target is wont to be a Grand Master! 🧐
I learned in jail. I was taught by one of the guards. After I shanked him I got transferred to high security. Now I play with the head screw.
