0 Increment?

Hello everyone,
I just read in some Lichess tournament rules the following:
In einem Zeitmodus mit Inkrement entfernt "Berserk" das Inkrement (1+2 ist eine Ausnahme, es wird zu 1+0).
Which translates to (approx.): In a time mode with increment "berserk" cancels the increment (1+2 is an exception, it becomes 1+0)

Now my question:
How is an increment of 0 still an increment? It says the increment is not cancelled, but reduced to 0 so nothing?

Increment 0 is no increment.
5+3 becomes 2.5+0
3+2 beomes 1.5+0
2+1 becomes 1+0
However
1+2 does not become 0.5+0, but instead becomes 1+0, so it is an exception.
