What is difference between Arena and Swiss?

I am a newbie here as I have posted in other threads. When I hover over play it says Arena Tournaments and Swiss Tournaments. What even is the difference?
arena is not played in rounds, swiss is. In swiss you dont get to play all the players
A swiss tournament is where winners play winners and the person with the most points at the end wins. These touranments have a set number of rounds.

An arena tournament has no set number of rounds, but a set amount of time. And you can play as many games as you can in that time. A person will be matched against players similar to their rank in that tournament. The most points wins. Also, in arena tournaments, you can berserk, where you give up half your time for an extra point if you win. But if you lose, you you get nothing (as normal).

Different styles of tournament. In an arena tournament you want to play fast, so you can play a high number of games and hopefully win a lot of those. In a Swiss tournament, you don't have to rush, because the round waits for you. But if you lose a game, winning the tournament becomes harder.

Both are fun.

Swiss is shortly explained at lichess.org/swiss and more in detail at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss-system_tournament

In short, the difference is that Arena tournaments do not have a pre-set number of rounds. You get paired, play your game, go back to the tournament, and as soon as enough other players have finished their game, you get another game. So you never have to wait long. Swiss, on the other hand, does have a pre-set number of rounds.
I myself think that arena tournaments are more fun due to the fact that you can use berserk. Even there are arena streaks.
