On the lichess phone app the first rank is obscured by the countdown clock/bar at the beginning of a game. Not a problem with standard play, but off putting when it comes to chess 960. Since the pieces are in randomized positions on the first rank it's important to note where your pieces are. Of course you can look at the opponent's first rank, but I think it would be better if the countdown timer was further up the board or outside it.
