Beginner doubt?

Because you capture both the Knight and the Bishop, white only gets your rook.
Knight+ Bishop vs Rook ( at middlegame )
clearly better than Rook if active
and you can win some material at this position
On that board losing a rook for bishop and knight is fair?
It's not "lose", it's "win". Two minor pieces are worth more than a rook.
Thank you everyone, I clearly understood
@qnyx

Rooks worth 5, Knights and Bishops 3.

But if any piece is in a bad position or can't move or attack anything it's basically worth much less than that at that specific point in the game. It only has potential value.

A pawn has a value of 1. But as the game progresses they become more and more valuable because they get closer to becoming Queens.

To me chess is a game about Pawns.

Always consider you and your opponents pawn structure before you make or offer a trade.
@hampy

That's a good advice for me as well as a beginner. Thanks, now I'm understanding the game much more.
Because then your bishop will take the black queen after you capture with pawn. Turn on the analysis engine and follow the moves it gives, it helps a lot.
