Why does the graph number lines change?

As i noticed in some people's profile, shows graph number line "0K, 1K, 2K, 3K" instead of 1000, 1200, 2000 and etc.
Can someone satisfy mai q-question? :3

"K" is short for the latin word "kilo", meaning one thousand. So it means the same thing.
