Naming Pets After Chess Terms/Openings?

I just had the weird idea of naming a pet dog/cat/what have you after a chess opening, prodigy or term. Here are some names I've come up with:

Dog:
Nimzo (my favorite), Silman, Paulsen, Gambit, Grunfeld, Bogo, Karpov

Cat:
Benoni, Benko, Najdorf, Alekhine, Tal, Ruy, Veresov

Fish:
Slav, Guico, Dunst, Caro ( I can't really think of many other good fish names at the moment)

As you can see, I have mainly assigned dogs' names with positional openings and masters, cats with tactical openings and aggressive players, and fish with some in between. I'm curious as to what others might think of this.
Interesting idea :P However wouldn't dogs be kinda pretty much in all the groups (agressive, positional etc) since they're used in so many different ways? (guarding, assisting the blind, police etc)
maybe... but most of the population doesnt know that much about chess lol. I think a zwischenzug would make a good name for a dog, though XD
I think, given how nobody ever forgets history in my country, some of these would get me, at the very least, punch in the face, and at the very best, exile. . .

But jokes aside, I can see naming my dog Nimzo or Kann, should I be very desperate... I usually go after Tolkien when naming practically anything.
I think it'd be cute if somebody had a trio of pets named Smith, Morra, and Gambit.

Come to think of it, Morra would be a pretty first name (edit, for a human, I mean), in my opinion.
I think instead you should name your pets after the masters of chess, but not their last names. Things like Garry, or Aron, or Mikhail, Paul, Anatoly, etc. and the chess stuff can be an in-joke if people ask where the name comes from. Just a thought.
Great Idea .
What kind of chess-related tattoos do you recommend ?
My Cat's name is Fianchetto. I call him chetto.
I love that name. Even if nobody I meet ever understands.
@nguytravis Just FYI fianchetto is pronounced with a hard "k" sound and not a "ch" sound. Not saying this to be a dick just most people don't know and while I'm sure you won't change your cat's nickname to ketto just thought you might want to know.
