Aren't that you define before you start a questionaire within a bachelor thesis? "What society? How is individualization defined? What group of people (selected countries? Worldwie?) can I include?

The main part of my work is comparing online players and players from chess clubs and investigating if chess clubs have a place in modern society when most of today's generation prefers the online world.
As part of a cross-cultural comparison, I then examine whether post-communist countries, such as mine, have a different perception of the concept of community.

Exactly my point. This guy thinks he can talk for all countries in the world by his ideas. Very strange?

Thanks for doing that- really interesting topic.

Err the survey asks which country you're in. That would presumably allow somebody to look at differences between countries with different levels of individualisation. It seems to be doing the opposite of what you say.

So according to you... If one culture in the world bows, then posting what role chess games have in bowing is similar to this type of survey... (At least they included what country you're from in the questionairre to determine "the level of bowing in the country".)
