About 2 years but one year i focused on my school and didnt practice chess a lot so i can tell its 1 year
i think i knew the rules since i was like 7 or smth from doodling around with the windows vista pre installed chess game
but i only really started playing when i made this account after i randomly played a game in school so like 2 years
