Is it a thing to not accept tackeback in bullet (1min match) ?

@Progression7
Yup, that's true the clocks give you back your time after take-backs and its pretty time consuming to confirm move for each move in blitz, but it unfortunately breaks the concentration of the player (especially in rapid and classical [though I don't play classical]) and that's the very reason take-backs don't exist in OTB games.
But ig its upto the choice and opinion of the players, if one feels his concentration is affected by such takebacks he can always disable them for himself.

However, the one thing which I've always hated (and I'm pretty sure everyone does) is when a player asks for a takeback under the pretext of mis-clicks and then moves a whole different piece!! Surely that couldn't have been a mis-click 🤔.

Personally I've looked at this as a touch-piece rule, and hence I remain in my rights to decline a take-back even if it really were a mis-click (as I would never know if it really is). I apologize in case anyone feels offended by this.
" that's the very reason take-backs don't exist in OTB games."

No, takebacks dont exist because it would be just silly. You think about the move make it and thats it. Like in all other board games. Takebacks just dont belong to competitive event. You did your best and you feel that it failed then too bad.
@Ilvchess0.
I'm not quite sure what your arguments are supposed to be directed against. But I'll try to respond anyways.
"I agree with u that it is quite offending to ignore one's take-back request " I didn't say that. I said it annoys me personally. But like I said they have every right to ignore me. And I do not find it "offensive"
"when you are playing a rated game it's the equivalent of a game being played in a tournament as it affects your rating and in such formal games you would be applying the rules of touch-piece, and you surely couldn't ask your opponent for a takeback on such an OTB game"
Lichess is different.
On lichess you don't have to press the clock manually. It works by itself.
On lichess tack-backs are just a game mechanic. Your opponent can accept or decline or ignore.
Comparing lichess rated games to tournament games is not a good idea.
"A nice option would be for u to enable "confirm move"" Yes but in bullet? No thanks.
I would rather mess up. Offer a tack-back. See my opponent decline. And move on.
Than automatically losing by enabling move-confirmation.
Again I am not sure what you are arguing.

they might have clicked on the wrong piece by accident. Believe it or not that happens.
I recommend always having tack-backs turned off. Always. But that is your decision. Not mine.
@Ilvchess0 I try to determine myself if it's a misclick or not and hope that the opponent will play it fair afterwards. I mean Qd7 instead of Qxd8 or Kf1 instead of 0-0 are obvious example. I also look at the time my opponent needed to ask for the takeback or to write "misclick" in the chat.

sorry i just read the other forum now, maybe i would've had a better reference if i had read that earlier.

True its not possible to confirm moves in bullet but I've personally found asking for takebacks as unethical on visible blunders. I still wish to compare it with OTB games where you would find your opponent to follow the rules of touch-piece.

Yup lichess is different, it being online the clock works by itself, but yet comparing it with OTB games or tournament games isn't wrong as the basic principles remain the same, the game affects your rating and is time bound as well unlike the games you would be playing with your friends.

"and hope that the opponent will play it fair afterwards"
yup that's the bit I've always been worried about,
I've had opponents playing something they obviously didnt intend to before and after that i disabled takebacks completely.
