How to react to bullies on lichess?

Unfortunately, the reality of the world is that any one can hurt your feelings, you just have to grow a thick skin, and even then its a bit hard.

The internet provides a veil of anonymity, where insults don't lead to consequences, and its just a sad reality. I'm sure some one has already mentioned this, but zen mode is probably the way to go, but I rarely receive enough upsetting messages to enable it myself.

As you get above a certain rating, I find much less people are abusive in chat, but maybe that's just my imagination.
Edit to my number 3:
Dislike their post, horsey it as well. If they ask why they disliked, thinking face there comment and horsey it as well. The reply with Yo Bulling mę. If they ask why you think faced say: “U R Trollface” (thinking face, dislike and horsey every post) and if they ask why you are horseying reply
HORSEY IS GOD. HE RULES OVER US. HE OVERPOWERS YOU. HORSEY STARES AND YOU, MR TROLLFACE. NOW HORSEY HAS GET FEED. GOODBYE TROLLFACE. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
If I was pretending to be a psychologist, I'd say something like "Bullies crave your attention, perhaps because they have a sense of lack within themselves. They also lack awareness of their own condition and the root cause of their behaviour".

I'm not a psychologist though, so I have no idea.

If you were a clinical psychologist you would ask: Who has the problem?

You would see that it is not the one the bullies are directed to. It's the one spending time and energy with bullies instead of doing something useful for his life. So you would have pity with the one bullying (if it's only lichess and not real life!).
