At the 1500 level, you should not resign with two knights and only down an exchange (the position is also rather bad, but still). You can still fork your way to a draw (at least).
Fully agree with the previous comment on the fact that it was a really premature resignation.
On another note, I think you should work on your time management. You ended the game with pretty much the same time you started with. That's 10 minutes you could've spent analysing the position and preventing the blunder in your last move. I used to have the exact same issue, but I've been trying to play slower and it's rewarding and more educational than blitzing out the first decent move that comes to mind.
