Should i come to know whom I banned?

I have reported many players on lichess. And eventually, i get the notification someone u reported got banned. Lichess should tell me who got banned, isnt it?

why would Lichess make it open? that is quite unnecessary. You really dont need to know. And you have not banned anyone. Lihchess admins have and there must be more evidence than you reported them.

One thing I *would* like to know is what generates these messages. Not when the player in question is timed out, certainly, but what about when the player is muted? Or is it only when the account is marked (e.g. "This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service") or closed?

@DrZwischenzug that doesn't really answer my question. Do you know whether a player being banned from chatting and messaging would result in one of these "Someone you reported was banned" notifications?
