Is the Dutch good for a 1500 in rapid

Hey everybody! is the Dutch good for a 1500

Dutch is a good opening. Botvinnik, Bronstein, Carlsen have all played it.
It can be. I guess stonewall has some straightforward plans.

Maybe queen gambit accepted is a better choice.

Yes, as long as you go into it knowing that someday -- if you improve enough -- you'll have to grow out of it.
For 1500 rapid I would recommend it, but you are required to play it about 10 times before you get a good idea of the general responses. I give you two tips:

1. try to retain your dark-squared bishop
2. make sure you castle quickly

Here's an example game at about your level lichess.org/QKnEVHt4
Any solid opening is good as long as you know basic opening principles inside of that opening.
Every opening is good but the execution of middle game and endgame is important
IMO: You'll need to put in time to learn it well because in my experience it's really easy to get overwhelmed and just find yourself in positions where you don't know what the ideas are. Queens gambit declined on the flipside, kinda plays itself.
