This is why you should never resign in blitz.

What's even the point of resigning? Nobody ever won by resigning.
@AleksKuz10 if u know that u are going to lose the game... Then resigning saves time... That's the only point in it
There are some positions where resigning is appropriate, down a queen for example, with no counterplay. Resignation is not just an act to save time, it is also a show of respect for your opponents time and strength in the game. It is part of what makes for a polite, respectful game. Of course, it also depends on your level. For example, a 400 playing another 400 would not resign if they believe there is a way they can win, legitimately. Does that mean it's real, or even works? No! But if there is some way, some inkling in the back of your head, maybe a plan or a trick; then you should not resign until you've tried every option you have. However, to say don't resign, and resigning only saves time, would not be correct in most situations. In this particular example, if you see the potential for this stalemate, go ahead! But if you just got lucky, never saw it as a possibility, didn't even know it existed, then I would not count it as a show of skill, I would count it on your luck and your opponent's once in a blue moon mishap.
