Loss given in a won game when server crashed

Yeah, my game had about three more moves played. Stockfish says I was +18 when the server went down, not that it matters beyond making the rating loss that much more sad.

No one is pushing anything under the rug. It's just that we cannot predict crashes.

I understand but my question was : Why are some games aborted and others no during the crash?
