Hikaru better than Magnus carlsen

bruh magnus is good in bullet too!
idk what sources y'all are using saying that hikaru is better than magnus at blitz and bullet when he's constantly losing to him in blitz and bullet. In the World Blitz championship last 3 years, Magnus Chess Tour events, etc. Magnus is clearly the best player in the world at all aspects of the game.
Honestly I don't think you can say that.

They both primarily play different time-controls. As one user pointed out, it is like comparing a sharpshooter to a sniper: while they both indeed know their way around a firearm (chess rules and responses), and can both shoot very well (play well), they however both shoot very specific and different styles. Sharpshooting requires speed and muscle memory, while sniping / long distance shooting requires patience and precision.

For me personally I prefer Hikaru. I enjoy playing faster time controls, where quick thinking and fast reactions are most valued. I can't stand long games, probably anything over 5 minutes is hard for me to do. Perhaps I just don't see the point of playing a 20m game that you anyway may loose, or taking 3m to plot a pivitol move...
This topic would make a wonderfully silly video on youtube: Nakamura with a gunslinger photo vs Carlsen with a sniper photo.

I don't think you understand the point. Yes, Hikaru is a blitz wizard. But Magnus is a blitz god. Just because we don't see him streaming or playing in titled arenas that often doesn't mean he isn't the best. FYI he's kinda prepping for a world championship match. Also, might I add again that Magnus has consistently beaten Hikaru in blitz and bullet events?
Yes he may not play AS MANY fast events but that doesn't mean he isn't the best at them.
