Quick question: What is Stockfish 16.1's elo/rating?
The server analysis is not working for me with stockfish 16.1 , just sits and spins, and never starts to draw the graph. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
update, it does run the analysis but it took several minutes
hi, out of curiosity, was it tested against other, older versions of itself too? To rule out improvements/exploits against its predecessor in particular.
~~But also like another commented, against other engines?~~ nvm this one was answered

@StockfishNews Has it already been released or is it just being developed?
I've had no luck running the older builds on my laptop with macOS 10.15.7. The latest I can run is the Intel version for Stockfish 15.1.

Individual patches are tested against the latest dev version with (usually) 2 SPRT tests. Progression tests are done against the last full release (not point release, so future prog tests will be against 16 and not 16.1) and with a fixed amount of games.

It would be interesting to have more information regarding the two different NNUE files. When or how does Stockfish decide to switch them, IOW when to use the one or the other? Is that fully automated or does it involve custom user configuration?
As a similar topic, we find in the Lichess options for local SF 16 analysis the option to choose between a 7 MB NNUE or one with 40 MB. How to decide about that?
Thanks.
