Get over it. being alive leads to death in 100% of cases studied. Prepare to die, as that is EVERYONE'S fate. This idea that an insurance CEO should be murdered because people get sick and die is preposterous
I thought it was funny how they got a good shot of the guy's face. He was in the lobby of the hostel talking to the female clerk, and she said she wanted to see his smile. So he briefly pulled down his mask and gave her a smile. That flirting will do you in every time...

> Denial of life saving care solely for profit is as immoral as any other murder for profit. They let you die, after you paid into their system, sometimes for a lifetime. Only to be told that money won't cover your life- they could save you, but they won't- because they want to make more money. Shilling for that is deeply sociopathic, the world would be better without greed inspired mass murderers and their sycophants

> Those with real morality, not a situational morality dependent on what is common, or what is legal, see that this subhuman mass murderer was evil. Basic empathy is all one needs.
>
> Those of you who don't have the morals to see that are not much better, as you lash out at those brave enough to fight for the masses, against the sociopathic murderers for profit you laud and defend.

That is a disgusting thing to say. Not only are you supporting the murder of someone who did not create the system you are opposed to, but you ask for more violence and wish ill on people who have health insurance.

There is no good healthcare system in the world. The U.S. system has highly effective treatments while being exceedingly costly. I have learned from family members who live abroad and work in the medical field that even countries like Germany tend to have inferior quality of care when compared to the U.S. Yes, the U.S. system needs an overhaul, but that doesn’t mean violence is the answer.
So, a lot of fascists in the lichess forum, it's been that way for a few years now. Big deal, this forum is for a handful of people at the end of the day and represents the opinions of those few people only- and they will cry every time to the admins who help it remain so. Pathetic little echo chamberers...

The good news is this little island of misfit fascists is completely out of touch with the rest of us. So the rest of us agree, while the pearl clutching clowns who cheer technically legal mass murder are VERY MUCH in the minority. Turns out most of us don't like getting beat down by a corporate overlord. You happy sycophants who demand humanity take being cheated out of life quietly are a sad, sad little impy minority. Take your judgement and be alone with it. Your weak takes are rejected far and wide by the decent among us.
Remember-- you can't be in the wrong when you call someone else a fascist!

I've heard the term "Fascist" thrown around a lot (and have even been called one myself). So I have decided to look up the definition:

Basically, it's someone who wants a dictatorial government and does not value human life over the good of the government.

I personally am not a fascist. Not sure who actually is, I don't really think I've met anyone who wants a dictator or an authoritarian government. Also, I'm really not sure which side would be considered fascists in this situation as the people that think the dude should have died aren't supporting a dictator and neither are the people who are against murder. Really, next time you might want to keep ad hominem out of your arguments or at least know what a word means before you use it.
"I don't really think I've met anyone who wants a dictator or an authoritarian government."

Where do you live? Have you been to the USA? A majority of the voting populace just voted for exactly that, so. I've met PLENTY of fascists. There's an embarrassingly strong movement toward the far-right / fascism in Europe as well.
A very similar incident recently occurred at a circus event in the small town of Butler in the US state of Pennsylvania. There, a gunman shot the clown on stage, who was giving a long monologue, but "only" in the earlobe.

However, cruel incidents like this and the current one in Manhattan will not be repeated in the USA from January 20th. As the 47th has assured his frenetic supporters in countless campaign speeches, from the day of his inauguration he will both drastically tighten gun laws and radically curb the disproportionate influence of the NRA on politics and society.
The fact that the NYPD has put 100 times more resources towards solving this shooting than it does the victims who are actual residents of NYC only serves to highlight the two tier system of justice and makes the perpetrator that much more of a hero.
