Analysis board: show percentage of each move instead / on top of number of games

Hey there,

I hope it's the right place to suggest this. I love lichess analysis board feature, especially the moves list, which shows how many times a move has been played for a given position, and its win ratio. It's also very very cool that you can filter this by rating, I *love* this.

There's one thing that I miss though: when studying an opening or a position, I try to estimate the "chance" of a move to be played. The data is all there, but I have to manually compute the sum of all the visible moves or go back to the previous move to know how many games ended up in the position, and then compute the percentage of each of the possible moves. To me, it's much more useful to know the percentge of chance of a move rather than the sheer number of games.

First, does this make sense to other players than me or am I the only one on this?

I believe this info could be shown in the tooltip when hovering a move (that currently shows the average rating of players who played the move), or have a dedicated setting ("do you want to show the number of games or the percentage in moves list ?") but that surely implies a bit more work.

Cheers

Nobody would be interested in this then? Or is it not the right place for feature suggestion?
@lepad Most probably, nobody just saw your post. Maybe try first discussing it on Lichess Discord.
Yes, that's why I bumped this post, could not find a clear notion of where to discuss an idea or feature suggestion. I did not want to go and open a github issue right away :)

Thanks a lot for your answer !
