The pesky ToS #8

I just want the mods to give an official opinion on these either/or forums at least.
@bufferunderrun @lovlas Sorry for pinging, I just want to make sure what you all think about these either/or forums that clutter the off-topic forums nowadays. Thank you.

@MrBongcloud I know it's annoying to see threads that you think are spam and them pushing away the more meaningful threads, but nothing can be done if lichess doesn't take any actions even after a report. It may be fun for a certain group of people but you may not be a part of that group. Ignore those posts and search for the ones you find useful. As anonmod said in one of his posts that we are not someone to judge, so we can't do that. They have take up the responsibility, so leave it all up to them.

As a mod in German chess forum I can say: it is at your own expense/risk to roam within the realms of off-topic stuff. We hardly moderate that trash heap.

I don't think I've given up that much on the off-topic forums just yet...

I just took a look at then just now and must agree with Sarg0n... complete utter dumpster fire.

It has become worse than than the chess.com forum. At least they keep out of the important forums.
