Interesting game, mainly bc i had a really good play partner!

yeah, i know, im only a beginner/amateur...
but still this game was really interesting: tough middle and end game!
my play partner/oppo played really good!
if you say s.th. i will be happy.
of course i also appreciate critics and showing possible mistakes.
for example i could have forced checkmate 1 or 2 moves earlier, i realized by myself :/
thank you :-)

ps: in analysis i saw we both had some mistakes, but still... :)
i had some few games w/o any mistakes in it. not even an inaccuracy. but this games
havent been so tight. i clearly dominated this games. so it was easier to play :)
Nice use of tactics, but I would say focus on your positional play a bit more.
16. Rxd5 was a minor useful tactic. 24. Qb5 and 29. Nb5 feel really passive. You should be attacking that wide-open king like crazy!
@AREA1177 ok thank you. since im a beginner i dont even know really what means positional play. does it mean
that my pieces are dominant and defending well at the same time?
i play until now just how it feels to be right.
I don't think "positional play" has much to do with this game. As Vulcan indicated, you should be attacking with all your might there.

Consider the position after Black's 21st. Many moves appear to win right off the bat: 22 Reg1, 22 Nd5, 22 Ne4 (both N moves threatening mate in 1). Not to mention the mate in 4: 22 Rxg7+ Kxg7 23 Qg5+ Kf8 24 Qh6+ Kg8 25 Rg1#.

When your opponent has no pieces developed or that can defend, his king is apt to be a sitting duck.
@NM MrPushwood
thanks you, i wil try to focus more on that. seeing mate in more than 2 or 3 moves is very difficult for me. maybe i will improve.
i havent read any books on openings, pawn structures and tactics at all. im lazy. maybe i should. i just play or watch youtube chess videos. sometimes i make chess puzzles/ chess tasks.
i tried to focus on the advises. i guess here i played better. i was always dominating my oppo, concentrating on
good positional play.
what do you professionals think?
