3 check stockfish 12

Hello, the stockfish 12 for 3 check seems to have some issues. For example, in the position after e4, e6, nc3, c5, nf3, nc6, e5, d5, nb5, a6, nd6+, bxd6, qxd6, d4, nf6, bd3, c4, 0-0, cxd3, re1, I have analyzed that position to a depth of 43 and the move it recommends is h6, which is +1 for white. However, i guess it just completely misses rxe6+, because when i analyzed that it was a mate in 14. There have been many other positions similar to this that the stockfish just completely misses. The old one was so much better, is there any way to implement the old one back into the system for 3 check? The old one did not miss rxe6+

The search is selective, so the program won't necessarily find mate in 14 at depth 28. Selective search makes the engine miss things occasionally, but on average it sees much more. Probably that's what's going on here?
