What should I do if I'm heartbroken?

I came to this topic too late to respond but I will say this about Donya whom I have spoken to in the past.
Donya is now 18,lives in Iran and is an extremely intelligent young woman. We have discussed the difficulties women have in her country as to repression, educational inequities and various other issues.
Donya is a very nice person and a Very competent chess player ,Master level,her ratings here are 2400 in all time controls.
If perhaps she should some day read this I would just tell her that time does heal all wounds ( trite but mostly true) and to wish her good fortune,success and fulfillment of all her dreams and wishes. Good luck Donya and may the light of happiness shine upon you :)
