Climbing is harder since Corona-Time?

Hi guys,

Since lichess decreased the average rating counter to 45.00, I - ironically - climbed from ≈ 2280 to ≈ 2450 elo. After feeling confident about my development, I saw that a lot of of my other opponents also climbed to over 2400. I played 4 months on this level but since 3-4 weeks I struggle to stay over 2400 and now it is even worse: After having a Losing-Streak I have fallen under 2300 for a short time, coming back to ≈ 2350 right now.

As good as I felt when I hit 2400, as bad I felt about losing so many points again (not about the rating, I don't care about virtual numbers. But I thought that I just played worse than before).

Currently I face the same opponents I played when I was over 2400. Back then they had also over 2400, but now the most of them fall to ≈ 2300, too.

Do you guys also feel something different in your games? Do you think it's just some weird coincidence? Or do more people play on lichess (or online in general) since there is the only place you can play chess right now?

Greetings and stay healthy!
