I wonder why still so few people donate their CPU to Lichess. The computer donation wouldn't have to be active all the time, but especially in the approx. 5 hours per day when 25,000 or more players are on the server a CPU donation would help Lichess very much.

the CPU donation can also be made while playing at the same time with the same computer at Lichess.
Since everyone who plays at Lichess has the computer on anyway and in most cases doesn't perform any other big tasks, CPU time could be without disadvantages donated during the playtime.
Everybody could do that at no cost.
