It is a slippery slope.
It starts off with cheating on a few puzzles. You tell yourself that you deserve those points. That you're not hurting anybody. Then before you know it you're getting stopped and searched by the police with a shipment of stolen credit cards stuffed down your pants! Still, it's your first offence. Bit of community service. Nothing you can't handle. However upon release you realise it's not easy getting a job with a criminal record so you go on the rob. That's until you get caught again. The magistrate isn't so lenient the second time around. When you get out of prison you're 35. No future and a string of shattered lives behind you. Is that what you really want?

Or just use an engine to show you the best move, which Lichess tells you is not against the rules when solving puzzles.
Lichess doesn't care if you cheat on puzzles because your puzzle rating means nothing. But don't let that stop you from feeling like a genius h@xx0r because you found a complicated, ass-backwards way to "beat the system" that is more trouble than actually solving the puzzle.
