Overcoming fear of losing points

I know many will say it's just a game. But I see chess more than a game. I am interested in seeing my rating going higher, sustaining and breaking winning streak. How can I overcome fear of losing points.
More, you learn that skill. If you want to play without the restraint of rating points, go anonymous or separate acc, as long as that alt is a good one
I'd think it would be similar to dealing with fear and pressure about any place else. Do a web search on dealing with pressure. I see in one article, they say we make poor decisions when under pressure.
lose a lot of points. then you won't be afraid. losing = improving your skills.
Don’t worry about seeing your rating go higher, worry about getting better. If you get better, your rating will reflect that.

Alternatively, only play players rated 600 points lower than you and creep up slowly but surely while gaining less than one rating point per game. You won’t actually be better at chess, but your rating will be higher, if that is all you care about.

Your rating is only useful and meaningful if it is a measure of your chess ability.
Easiest way to lose rating points is to be afraid of losing rating points. If you're afraid of losing you'll play too passively and so systematically put yourself in bad positions.

One of the easiest way for weaker players to lose to stronger ones is to be afraid of them and so play passive and unchallenging moves because they're more concerned about not losing in 20 moves than about winning.
I've noticed that each time my rating decrease subitely, the next few days I find myself reaching new highs.

So that's it you should actually be happy to lose rating because it means that you're on the verge to go to the next level!
Don't let points to define you, you yourself define the points, your knowledge. Afraid of loosing points is being afraid of having accurate indexed your chess strength, consequently you can't choose the right opponents, and the right opponents won't find you. Your rating is floating always and it's aim is to find matching opponents.

Owning slightly higher rating won't make you better player, but will distort the pool of the players you can/would choose of.

To put it simply let your rating to float and enjoy the game !!

Look at the best players in the world, their rating curve. See? It's a curve, which means that everyone loses points, and regains them with a bigger interest.

Every time you lost a game, instead of thinking "I hate this game!", and closing your computer in rage, try thinking "Hmm, why did I lose this game?" If it was time trouble, or a mouseslip, try to think which moves you spent a lot of time on, and analysing every game afterwards with Lichess' great computer analysis tool.

Losing is just a painful, but effective, way of learning
