Strange conversation

The following conversation took place over a three minute period. Someone I've never played with, or seen on the forums messaged me.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Him/Her: Hey, just looking for an opinion. At what point should someone quit chess because because of their skill level because they're just no good?
I.e. when they can't/don't do something they should be doing, or when they do something wrong too often

Me: I'm not totally sure I understand the premise. Are you playing for fun, or are you playing to become a grandmaster? If you're playing for fun, it doesn't really matter how you play, or whether you improve. It's also true that chess becomes more fun as you improve, as a counter point to what I've said.

Him/Her: yeah, but if there was a point where someone was just too bad at chess that they should really quit, what point would that be in your opinion?

Me: I don't believe there is such a point. Being good or bad has nothing to do with whether you 'should' play chess.

Him/Her: not if they enjoy chess or don't, not about if they're projecting or whatever, I just want an answer saying "if you do this or don't do that then you're bad enough to quit"

Me: Yeah, I don't understand the premise. Skill has absolutely nothing to do with whether you should play or not.

After this message they blocked me. What do you think they were looking for? The fact that they blocked me seemed very strange.
The same message was posted on Chessable a few days ago lol. Very strange they are spamming the same thing everywhere. They seem to have a real issue.
