How To Reach 2000 VOL.2

@JohnStuckey #50
As far as I remember : The arbiter ruled that the player had to move with the piece touched, and dealing with the check, which would all be losing moves, so the "checkmated" player won the game after opponent resigned.
@achja
thats hilarious. btw if he had built REAL bullet skills he would look for all checks and tricks when he knew he had m1 and the opp was thinking ;)
@JohnStuckey
Actually, due to his bullet skills, he "premoved" and didn't really pay attention to his opponent's move.
@jonesmh
no - bullet skills mean anticipating their options especially when super limited before they move. he didnt know he could be put in check and ruin his over the board premove. poor bullet skills. even poorer human skills
@JohnStuckey
As you say in post #50, this is just your opinion. IMO, he got so caught up in his own plan, a common symptom of bullet players, that he premoved. Nothing you can say can change my mind, just as is the case with you.
Just drop it, or you could start a new thread talking about what it means to be a bullet player, IYO.
@jonesmh
lol drop what? i was responding to an example achja gave not going off on a tangent not topical to the thread. yes i agree with your statement, "he got so caught up with his own plan...". I am saying he lacks bullet competency(more accurate word than skills which seems to be interpreted as habits) because he didn't even attempt to anticipate the very few (or one) possible checks given an excessive amount of time to do so. this is a fact. this example was used as an argument why bullet leads to sub-optimal habits and is bad for chess development. don't have anything more to say to op besides developing poor chess habits from bullet games is not inevitable. that is also a fact.
@KingCIown by studing endgame the player learn think from back to front. By studing endgame the layer learn play the midlegame, by studying typical midlegame the player learn play openings. In chess, the postion that matters is the last in our analysis tree, it is not the first!

By studying endgame the player dont learn just endgame, but a new approach to chess...
