I am interested in playing a fluid system involving the Reti/English/Catalan. Anyone know of books/players/videos that include all 3? Are the three compatible? Thanks!
@eripleD I don't know which books, but the best move order is 1.Nf3 d5 2.g3 c5 3.Bg2 Nf6 4.O-O Nc6 5.d4 e6 6.c4. 1.Nf3 d5 2.c4 is less effective due to the annoying 2...d4. The English is a good alternative move order, which is beneficial in that it avoids the line 1.Nf3 d5 2.g3 g6!, although of course it allows 1...e5.
