Another “secret garden” move (and now you got that old Depeche Mode song running through my head) is for Black to decline the rook sacrifice with 24...Qxf4 Maybe not quite as sound as declining with the frequently suggested 24...Kb6, but definitely still playable and puts Kasparov in an uncomfortable position without his queen on the board any more.
