Many times opponents taking too much time for the next move. IIt's difficult to wait so long in busy schedule. If I resign, my rating points deducted. So sometimes, I remain hanging.
Lichess should provide some options in such situations.

@Chessfever180781 as said, there is a solution. But, I am curious. If you don't have time to play the full time you choose, why do you choose so much time? Doesn't make sense to choose a 15 minute game if you don't have 30 minutes to play the game....
15 + 15 is one hour for 60 moves. One could use 15 minutes for one move, rush some more moves and again take much time for this move. Maybe a time control with a very low base time, e. g. one minute and more increment would be better for you.
@Chessfever180781 Exactly what kind of options are we talking about here? Forcing the opponent to play their next move in a certain amount of time or forfeit the game? Let’s be serious here, that’s not how chess works. In chess, you have the right to use all your time as you please. So if you don’t have time, choose games with a shorter duration, It’s your job to manage your own time, not Lichess’s.

Earlier I started this discussion as I was new and sid not know all the rules. Thanks for all your valuable comments. Since I was barred from playing, I created another ID (DPM81).
My user I'D DPM81. From last few day's, I am observing a strange thing in few games. I was certain of winning in one or two moves. The opponent's time keeps on decreasing. I waited. Opponents time got over. But still I did not get any point. After few minutes, suddenly the opponent moved one piece and I had to make the check mate move. But at the very same time time game got over and I was the looser for taking more time than the allallotted. Where as the situation was exactly opposite. I was winning and the opponent took more time than allotted.
It's happening from last few days in 4 - 5 games at different intervals. Any one any suggestion please?
And the most unfurtunate part is - I have been barred from playing, since then. I got the notification that I kept the opponent waiting without resigning ir finishing the game.
