The trap is nice, but i didnt know there are good lines for white after 1.d4
I only play d4 and I'm doing pretty well for myself ;)
More seriously: there are a few bad things to be careful about in the opening for every opening, but once you "survive" the opening, d4 or others are not bad. It gives more complex positions, imho.
Not a theoretician though
