I also would like to say thank you to everyone involved in making this amazing new version of the site happen! In addition I would like to say thanks to the mobile app developers as well as they explored ways to use lichess on a mobile device that is still ahead of the web site. However the gap is getting closer! ;-)

I will go on using the app on iOS but I also will switch to the browser version for great features like practice or editing studies.

Keep up the awesome work!

v1 was a great site. v2 grossly violates the rules of typography and layout. The site looks terrible on a laptop. There are no fields on the edges, the game clock and moves disproportionately large. The fonts are also unreasonably large.

With all due respect to @Thibault and you, @Lance5500 - the new design is objectively bad.

Please keep negativity off of this thread, there's plenty of other threads. Can we just have one nice thread please?
