Who is the best Lichess player?

Yes, I agree with Fischy. It is a good idea, but is a relatively irrelevant issue. The only problems I have been hearing about on the leaderboards is the people who play variants who play 1 game a week to stay #1. And besides, as Fischy said, the developers have other things to do.

Who is the best lichess player?

well...probably Magnus Carlsen. An interesting piece of history is that Bobby Fischer used to play on uchess. I've no idea what happened to that site but there's a lot of very significant chess players who play on sites like this under weird names.

I think it is close between Opperwezen and Penguin who is the best player.
Although Arka won the WC i think he slightly lacks in crazy house and the (extreme)bullet types.
Toivok is extreme well if all variants would be played with 30 seconds. prob Toivok could be the winner.

Other nice all-round players are Fischy (in my opinion the best 3 check player) Variantsonly and pizza in winter.

I think that a series of tournaments should be held, with first place getting 3 points, second 2, and third 1. maybe 10 of these tournaments, spaced out over time. 5 days before each tournament, you could create a post, alerting the team members that the tournament is coming up. Whoever has the most points in the end, wins.
